Watering your lawn

If your lawn is watered on a regular basis you will be cultivating thousands of individual grass plants that are accustomed to receiving regular watering. If something should disrupt this regular watering, such as a watering ban, your lawn will be less able to survive this type of drought as compared to a lawn that has become adapted to periodic droughts. A lawn that is adapted to an occasional drought will be well adapted to prolonged drought.
